These terms and conditions form the basis on which you can visit us and our website and place and order with Inadam Furniture. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.
General terms and conditions
This site is owned and operated by Inadam Furniture of 37 Aden Road, Enfield, Middlesex EN3 7SY. If you have any queries about these terms and conditions or if you have any comments or complaints on or about our website, you can contact us email@example.com (+44)020 8443 2827. Any reference throughout these terms and throughout the website to ‘Inadam Furniture’ refers to ‘A1 Furniture England Ltd.’ – Inadam Furniture division.
Orders placed on the website form a contract with Inadam Furniture (A1 Furniture England Ltd.). Customer (you) is the person, company or legal entity buying the goods from us and to whom the goods are to be invoiced. ‘Goods’ are the items described in our ‘Invoice’. By using or accessing this website and/or placing order(s), you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Content Accuracy
Inadam Furniture makes every effort to ensure that the content of this website, including illustrations, prices, product details and technical data are clear and accurate at the time of publishing. All the dimensions/sizes given are approximate only. Whilst every effort is made to match all website imagery to the actual products, all goods are supplied on the understanding that there may be some colour and shade variations, slight design differences (i.e. mouldings used, materials and other small alterations). A lot of the products offered on our website are handmade using natural materials, we therefore cannot guarantee all products will look the same, every veneer, timber will be different (some will be more knotty than others, with different patterns and even colour), leather will always vary and different parts of the hide have different feel and texture. Polishing may have been done by hand or by gun and will always vary with every item so by purchasing from Inadam Furniture you are accepting this is the nature of the products that we offer. We cannot guarantee that any product seen on the website will accurately reflect the delivered item, as colours in imagery are not always accurate and will display very differently between computer screens and printers. Also the lighting when the photography is taken can appear different to how the item actually looks. For this reason where we can we offer ‘free of charge’ leather or wood samples which are available on request. Due to our policy of continual improvement some products may vary from those described. The company reserves the right to amend the specification, construction and/or design without prior notice. We do not accept any liability for any errors or omissions contained within this website.
2. Ownership Rights
All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Inadam Furniture (division of A1 Furniture England Ltd.) Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.
All items are subject to availability. We will endeavor to supply your requested product within 6-10 weeks of confirming your order. Please note that for some products this will be available within 20 days. Occasionally the manufacture/supply of your goods may be delayed which can be due to material shortages, or higher than anticipated demand. Goods of a similar model may be available and we are able to substitute the goods. Any substituted goods can be returned. Lead times and delivery days are quoted as working days and do not include weekends and bank holidays. Inadam Furniture does not dispatch any goods between 15th December and 5th January. We will make every effort to keep you informed of any delays.
Prices are in Stirling (GBP) and are shown inclusive of VAT. Inadam Furniture reserves the right to amend prices at any time and without prior notification. For customers outside of the United Kingdom, please email us firstname.lastname@example.org for a quotation. Customers outside of the United Kingdom will also be liable for any customs/import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the goods. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, therefore you are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements in your country before placing an order. Inadam Furniture can in no way be held responsible for any charges incurred. All orders made directly from this website are subject to carriage charges indicated or to be advised.
VAT charges are at the prevailing rate on the date of invoice but may be zero-rated in some cases. Any increase or decrease in VAT between date of order and date of invoice will be passed on to you. All customers in the EC are subject to the UK standard rate of VAT, unless they are provide the VAT registration for the invoice.
Orders placed online are with Inadam Furniture. Inadam Furniture processes and administers all orders on behalf of A1 Furniture England Ltd. By placing an order online/offline you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by these terms and conditions. Receipt by Inadam Furniture of any order via this website does not constitute legal acceptance of an order. Your order will be deemed acceptable by us only once you have received written confirmation of acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse your order for any reason we see fit.
7. Ordering Errors
If you make a mistake when placing an order, please contact Customer Services as soon as possible on (+44)020 8443 2827 or by email email@example.com. If production has not yet started on your good(s) or if your good(s) have not yet been dispatched we will try to rectify the mistake. If production or material preparation of your goods has taken place, this may incur a charge to make the necessary changes if at all possible. If goods have been dispatched there will be a charge to have the goods returned and redelivered. If you amend your order this may also change the production lead time or delivery date and/or the price you will pay for the item. You will be asked to confirm changes to your order by email or in writing.
8. Order Acknowledgement
Your order will be acknowledged by email from Inadam Furniture/A1 Furniture England Ltd. If at any time after placing your order you have any concerns with the order, please contact Customer Services on (+44)020 8443 2827 or by firstname.lastname@example.org.
9. Promotional codes
Promotional codes enable customers placing orders through the website to obtain benefits such as discounts on certain products. These codes are non-transferable, so may only be used by the person/company/organisation to which they have been issued and must be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. Promotional codes may be time or product sensitive and will not be accepted for any item or within any other time frame other than those stated on the code. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, it is your responsibility to check that it has been issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using a promotional benefit you will be confirming that you are entitled to use that code and that you meet all the conditions that apply to its use. If before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use. We may reject your order, or alternatively, process your order without the promotional benefit being applied and take further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained from the card used. We will always contact you before taking further payments.
Full payment is required and processed at the time of placing an order. Payments are processed through SagePay, a secure online payment gateway. Payments will appear on your statement as Inadam Furniture or A1 Furniture. Inadam Furniture reserves the right to a levy charge for credit and debit card payments. Inadam Furniture reserves the right to refuse credit card payments.
Accepted methods of payment include: Cheques (made payable to ‘A1 Furniture England Ltd’), Credit/Debit Card (VISA, Switch and MasterCard) through the website or over the telephone, Bank Transfer (details available on request).
11. Legal Title
The legal title will not pass to the customer until the goods have been delivered/collected and paid for in full.
If at the time of ordering you have any issues with delivery, please contact our Customer Services team on (+44)020 8443 2827 or by email email@example.com. For products purchased from United Kingdom mainland locations, the delivery charge for that order will be applied. See the Charges Table under Delivery and Returns on the websitewww.inadamfurniture.co.uk. If your address is not within the transport charge table, contact us for information on what the delivery charges would be to your address. Please be aware that any stated delivery dates/times are estimates and based on the information available at the time that the order is placed and shall not be binding on Inadam Furniture. We will not be liable for any costs or damage caused by any reason of delay in delivery. Where several items have been ordered together that have different delivery times, we will aim to deliver all the items together.Delivery charges will vary according to the type of goods ordered.
13. Delivery Company
Delivery is carried out by a third party transport/carrier company. Goods will be delivered to your door. You are required to plan and have helpers to get the items into your house or delivery address. The packaging should be opened carefully and kept in case you need to return the goods. Goods must be signed for at the time of delivery. A proof of delivery can be obtained by contacting our Customer Services on (+44)020 8443 2827 or by firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are not there to receive your order at the agreed day when the delivery driver arrives you will need to pay a re-delivery charge (depending on number of items and location this will vary but minimum charge is £35.00).
14. Access to Delivery Address
It is essential that you inform us of any possible access restrictions at the time of placing an order. Inadam Furniture cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred due to limited access if we have not been notified.
When placing an order it is your responsibility to check the suitability of the item for your delivery address, that you have appropriate access to get the good(s) into your home, workplace or delivery location. This will include the size of doorways, corridors and hallways, staircases, etc. Inadam Furniture will not accept any responsibility if the goods will not go into the relevant room due to any form of access restrictions.
15. Bespoke Items
Any furniture that is made to your own designs or specification needs clear drawings with internal and external dimensions and these need to be provided by you. In designing your bespoke piece, you need to take into consideration the sizes to allow for transportability, usability and accessibility (access through hall ways, stair cares, and entry through any doors). Inadam Furniture shall not accept any responsibility for any miss calculations on any of these issues by the customer.
16. Notice of Damage, Non-delivery or Wrong Delivery
If goods appear damaged, incomplete or incorrect on receipt, this must be noted on the delivery documentation with the transport company. You must notify Customer Services no later than 3 days after delivery on (+44)020 8443 2827 or by email@example.com. If in doubt, mark the delivery note and documentation as unexamined. Should goods ordered not arrive on their expected delivery date, please contact our Customer Services team within 14 days of the invoice date, failing which Inadam Furniture takes no responsibility for non-delivery. We reserve the right to make a 20% handling charge for all refused deliveries or redeliveries without justification. Delivery charge refunds can only be made in accordance with your legal rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.
Goods must not be returned without notifying us by telephone (+44)020 8443 2827 or by firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be issued with a goods return code and this needs to be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging along with your name and original order number. Goods must be returned in the same condition as they were received, including the packaging. If you have not kept the original packaging, please contact us and we will send you suitable packaging, (a charge will be made to you for this). Inadam Furniture reserves the right to dispose of any non-saleable or un-creditable returned goods. Goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt, and no good will will be accepted for return after this period. All goods must be returned with the original paperwork. Inadam Furniture cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are not received. Proof of posting will not be accepted for credit of goods. Any good supplied to fulfil a special order/bespoke good at a customer’s request will not be accepted for credit.
If you decide that you want us to organise collection of a furniture piece that you wish to return there will be a minimum collection charge of £65, any delivery surcharges will be added to this charge). You are also more than welcome to return the item yourself at your own cost as long as the furniture is well packaged to avoid any transport damage (which would be your own responsibility).
Inadam Furniture warrants the products detailed on your order to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery/collection of goods manufactured. If a fault develops during this period, please contact Customer Services on (+44)020 8443 2827 or by email email@example.com who will advise on the best course of action. It may be possible for us to send out a furniture restorer/repair company or to have the goods returned to us. Should a repair not be possible within the guarantee period we will replace the product for new or nearest equivalent product. In the unlikely event that we cannot repair or exchange we will refund the product price paid, in full. This guarantee is for mainland United Kingdom only. The warranty excludes faults due to accident, neglect, misuse, not following the instructions and normal wear and tear. This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights. Goods will only be collected from the original delivery address. A charge may be made where the goods cannot be repaired under warranty. You will be advised before this is made.
19.1 By Customer
For cancellations on products ordered through our website, we will give you a full refund if you change your mind for any reason within 7 days after you receive your goods. After this date we will have in most cases a binding contract to supply your product. We must receive notification of your cancellation in writing (including email). This is only applicable to standard or stock items, any items that have been manufactured to order with any form of option made or any bespoke product will be exempt from cancellation.
If you cancel your order once it has been delivered, you must not use the goods. You must ensure that they do not sustain any damage and you must make them available to us when our transporter call to collect them on the date agreed with you. We will collect the good(s) and then refund the cost of the items ordered within 30 days of cancellation less any cost of transportation for the delivery and collection of the good(s). You must ensure the goods are maintained in a saleable condition and in their original packaging. Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
19.2 By Inadam Furniture
Inadam Furniture reserves the right not to accept an order:
– If we do not have the stock to fulfil the order
– If we are unable to deliver the product to your area
– If an item was incorrectly priced or described on the website
– If your payment was not authorised
– If you have not complied with our Terms and Conditions
If an order is cancelled by Inadam Furniture, any payments will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation.
Inadam Furniture provides services of polishing, re-polishing, re-leathering and re-upholstery of the most of the products that it supplies both within and after the warranty period (For some products made by other makers this isn’t always possible). Inadam Furniture does not sell any of its products to persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age you may use the website but any purchases should be made by an adult over 18 years.
22. Changes to Legal Notices and Invalidity
Inadam Furniture reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. You should look through them as often as possible. If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
23. Website Calculations when making a purchase
If our website miscalculates the price of delivery in the shopping cart for your order, the difference must be paid to confirm an order. If you are over charged, based on our delivery prices found within the website, we will refund you that difference and if you have been under charged the difference will need to be paid to for us to proceed with your order.
24. Third Party and External Links
Inadam Furniture may include links to third party websites on our site. We do not review these third party sites nor have any control over them and we are not responsible for these websites or their content or availability. We do not therefore endorse or make any representations about them, or any content found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them. If you decide to access any of these third party websites, you do so entirely at your own risk.
25. Price Match and website promotions
Our price matching promotion is for products that are identical in dimensions, finish and style. The products must be of the same specification and must be standard piece (bespoke does not apply). For us to be able try to price match or beat the price you have seen elsewhere, you must be able to provide a link to a fully working UK based website showing the same product that is available at the time of placing your order with Inadam Furniture (division of A1 Furniture England Ltd). This offer only applies to reproduction furniture (product tag) cabinet furniture and does not include upholstery (other than dining chair and desk chairs) and does not apply to Windsor Chairs. Offer is subject to availability.
Any offers or promotions running on our website are accepted as individual offers only. In no circumstance will more than offer be accepted or applied at the time of placing your order.
